Interior: BMW prides itself in building the Ultimate Driving Machine, and this mentality is taken to the interior as well. The dash is oriented directly to the driver. The gauges are large and easy to read. Sport seats hug the passengers though the corners, and also incorporate small M colored stripes, which add a cool supercar touch. In the sedan version, rear seat room is plentiful enough for three children or two adults. In the coupe and convertible variants, rear room is more limited however two children can still fit comfortably. All three versions have plenty of trunk space

Driving: The In-Line six cylinder engine in the E36 M3 is known around the world as one of the best engines ever produced.  The power comes smoothly in any gear at any rpm; however, there is more than enough power to drive as fast as you dare.  In manual cars, the clutch is perfectly weighted and easy to use, while in automatic cars the car will shift exactly when the driver would expect it to. 

The M3 utilizes perfect weight distribution to handle like any world class supercar.  In fact, in a September 1997 comparison Car and Driver named the BMW M3 the "Best-Handling Car – at any Price".  This truly shows the nature of this amazing supercar.  The suspension is perfectly tuned to handle anything thrown at the car, and the brakes never seem to fade.  As far as cheap supercars go there is nothing better than the E36 M3 for pure driving pleasure.
