Exterior:
Interior: The 968 was a major styling improvement over the outgoing 944 model in not only the exterior, but also the interior. Unlike pervious Porsches, the 968 offered leather on many surfaces and some creature comforts. In fact, it is a very pleasant space to spend hours upon hours of driving. The four seats hug the driver and passengers and the minimalist gauges are extremely easy to use. The aerodynamics are so good on this car, that with one window open, the driver experiences no breeze at all. The interior of this car will constantly remind you of the caliber supercar you are driving.
Driving: Porsche
put all of their technology at the time into this car. Thus, it drives
like a dream. With nearly perfect weight distribution, low drag,
excellent brakes and transmission, it is truly a joy to drive. It is
also fast enough to leave many modern supercars in the dust, but
because of its four cylinder engine fuel economy stays high. The 968
was the first Porsche to use VarioCam valve timing and new exhaust
systems. This helped to improve performance over the 944. In short,
this car exemplifies what Porsche does best: squeeze insane amounts of
performance form small engines. The 968 is often considered to handle
much better than the much pricier 911. Because of this, Porsche did
not allow the 968 to compete on the track because it would have ruined
the sales of the pricier 911. The 968 is a cheaper and better version
of one of the most recognizable supercars on the road ever.
