Review of BMW M3 (E46):
Exterior:The
E46 generation of the BMW M3 was one of the most anticipated cars of
modern time. It is based on the E46 generation of the famous BMW
3-Series, and just like the previous generation M3, it is the perfect
combination of supercar performance and everyday practicality. From
the outside, the E46 is a major improvement over the previous
generation. Taking on a more hardcore approach, BMW decided to only
offer two door coupes and convertibles. The new styling is much
curvier, but still incorporatws a very aggressive front fascia, M side
vents, a hood bulge, and quad exhaust pipes. Overall, this M3 retains
the modest exterior of previous M3’s however to the discerning
enthusiast the details of the M3 standout to make it a stellar
supercar.

Interior: The
outside of the E46 M3 is certainly more upscale than the previous
generation; however the true changes were made on the inside. Standard
equipment included body hugging bucket seats upfront, a three person
bench in the back, tasteful wood or aluminum trim, leather throughout,
and a large a thick rimmed steering wheel with radio and other
controls. Options included full leather buckets, navigation, bright
white gauges, and water and fuel temperature gauges. The trunk is
large enough to hold plenty of luggage. The M3 is certainly a supercar
that can carry passengers in luxury, style and comfort.
