Exterior:
Interior: Even though this is an insanely powerful supercar, it is a Mercedes-Benz as well, and this means that the interior will bath the driver in more luxuries than they can imagine. Countless options were available on this car to make it as luxurious or sporty as the owner wanted. The leather seats are comfortable for four passengers, but can easily accommodate five. The trunk has plenty of room for golf clubs or large suitcases. Bright white speedometers, special trim, seats and pedals separate the AMG from other less powerful C classes.
Driving: AMG is known for their engines, and this is where the C55 AMG shines. The W203 generation of the class originally featured a 3.2 Liter AMG V6, however in 2005 this was replaced with the massive 5.4 Liter V8. This is the same exact engine that was used in all of AMG’s models including the world class supercar SL55 AMG. In the C class, this engine produced 367 horsepower, which was more than enough to propel this lightweight sedan to illegal speeds quickly. The exhaust note is intoxicating and you will never want to lift off the gas.
Fortunately, AMG does more than just stuff a giant engine into the C class. For the C55 AMG, they developed new suspension parts and tuned the car so that it will handle like a true supercar should. The Speedshift 5-Speed Automatic leads to perfect lightning fast shifts. The C55 AMG will not disappoint in any way as an amazing supercar for less than $30,000.
